Subaru WRX - super wet!

Here is a 2002 WRX in Silver. Interior was vacuumed, panels and dash was degreased, and dressed with 303.

Process:

- Pretreat with citrus degreaser

- Rinse

- Wash with Meg's GC + double bucket + sheepskin wool mitt

- Clay

- Rims cleaned with Meg's Versa Angle brush and toothbrush. Tires cleaned with EO All Wheel & Tire Cleaner. Actually funny story about the rims. When the car was dropped off, the rims looked painted a reddish/brown colour. So I said "hmm, not a bad colour scheme for a silver car."

When I was spraying the citrus degreaser on the car, the bottle fell and rolled under the car. So I bent down to pick it up and my knee grazed the face of the rim, and my pants turned black. Turns out the rims weren't painted! :LOLOL

- Rinse

- Dry

- Opti-Seal

- Tires dressed with Megs NXT tire shine

- Glass cleaned with IG

I apologize in advance for the variance in pictures. It was extremely cloudy and the camera wasn't liking it very much.

All the finals were taken about an hour after I applied the Opti-Seal. The car was kept in the garage for about an hour after I took the pictures, and there was a noticeable difference in the finish, but I was unable to capture any pictures as the camera was in use.

Thank you for looking! Any comments, questions, and/or criticisms are welcome, as always!

Nice work!! :xyxthumbs Those rims were gross. Maybe it's just me but that factory carpet looks like cheap indoor/outdoor from HD.

Looks great! My sister has those exact rims on her Accord (also silver), they're a medium gunmetal color. They look awesome when clean but they're a pain to get clean.

WOW, what an improvement.. looks like a whole new car:goodjob

The rims are amazing:shocked what ( if you don't mind my asking ) did you use on the rims to get them so clean?

EDIT:

Nevermind... I went back and re-read the beginning where you said what you used hehe

Thanks for all the comments!

I actually stood back and admired the rims when they were cleaned. The shine went very well with the car.

I can't wait to do the full detail in the spring.
