Stupid question I know- Optimum

So I have been out the loop COMPLETELY (no forum, or internet searching) for over a year. I know I know stone me.



Back in the hay day I was using Menzerna, 3M, Optimum, Meguairs and a few others.



My question: im not looking to go to wild probably just mine and my wifes car so to keep it cost effective is Optimum still a respected company? I used to like there stuff and I found you cant beat their prices.

I like Optimum and regularly use their car wash and spray wax. Now that the winter is approaching, I will use ONR since I wont be bringing my cars to the hand car wash anymore. Poli-Seal is a great quick 1 step polish/wax- I use it for door jambs & Underhood but many use it for the whole car.



Wash: Optimum, Surf City, Griots, Pinnacle & a few others

Polish- I like Menzerna and Meguiars 105 & 205

Glaze- DWG or RMG

LSP- Collinite, Megs 16, FK1000; During summer- Souveran or CMW

Spray Detail: FK425, Megs Final Inspection & many others

Spray Wax: DG Aquawax or Optimum Spray wax
 
When it comes to polishes, I'd make *work time* a big consideration. If you like a long work time then Optimum might be a great choice; if you like a *short* work time, then maybe you oughta consider something else.



Or has Optimum stuff changed in that regard since I used it last?
 
I think Accumulator means their polishes has a long work time? I don't know because I have only tried PS(not a real polish but a cleaner/polish/sealant) and on pretty good paint so I go over the car pretty fast with it..OS, OCW and ONR are real time savers IMHO..
