Stubborn Water Eching. Help!

Hello all,



I have a 2006 Scion TC (Glass roof) with horrible water etching. I live in SOCAL(High Desert).



The water is pretty hard here. not to mention the 100+ degree temps in the summer.



Needless to say, I have bad water etching throughout the cars glass.



Things I tried:



Vinegar+Water.



Duragloss Nu-Glass Polish with steel wool (Used 0 grade by accident and it still didnt come off).



Lime Away on a small test area (Didnt work).



Now, what are my options? BTW, I did search first.



BTW, if any SOCAL autopians can get this water etching off, I will gladly pay for services.

I used zaino. z-12 I believe, the car I was working on had horrible etching and here in houston we see temps above 100 degrees also. Try it out, it should work. After just apply a wax or your window cleaner and it should be good as new.

P.S. It does take a while and some elbow grease but like I said, it worked great for me.
 
Here are two products you can try. The first is called Nothin's Better, and you can read a review in the following thread:

The other product is called Spot-X that can be found at Home Depot.



I'm not sure how much better these might work compared to what you have tried, but it is worth a shot. And be careful with that grade 0 steel wool, it will scratch your glass.



If you're wanting to find a detailer then listen to ZoranC and get in touch with OctaneGuy, he does very good work.

Yes all great suggestions so far. DP glass restorer by 3M cutting pad and polish pad have done wonders but I reckon Diamondite D3 glass restorer, novus cerium oxide and even menzerna IP will do the job superbly



Seen octane guy on north american motoring forums. Very wise
