Strongest car wash concentrate?

the foam gun is the key I think. A pre soak will get almost anything off once you wash. At least thats what I have experienced. simple green 50/50 is good to and gentle on the paint.

Add another fan of CG's Citrus Wash N Gloss to the list. It's so versatile. Dilute it down for everyday LSP-safe washes, or use more of it to strip your LSP and get your paint *clean*.

I worked on my cousin's Passat today. Paint/Clear was in good condition, but it's a heavily driven car, so I wanted to get it prepped for claying. I used the CG Citrus Wash to soak it (let sit for 5-7 minutes using a foam gun), rinsed with a shower spray of water, then a foam application of Dawn (first pin setting on the gun). This seemed to take any residual wax off the car, and most of the particulates. I would personally recommend the CG Citrus Wash as a presoak to loosen dirt/particles, but follow up with Dawn to break down any wax/sealant layer.

I have tried many stronger wash solutions, even pulling a paul dalton and spraying the dirty parts with citrus degreaser.

However now I just use citrus wash and gloss, when mixed at 2oz per gallon it is insanely good at removing grime, and 1/2oz per gallon will preserve any LSP you may have. Not to mention the slickness and gloss it leaves compared to other soaps.

For bad wheels I go as high as 6oz per gallon and it still leaves them looking like I used a QD after the wash.

Meg's Hyper all the way.

Cleanses well w/high lubricity even at 4:1.

If you're working for college students that don't really care; I dast say you could get away using it at a little less than that.

Even for the worst wheels; Simple Green at 4:1 cuts most brake dust. You can go stronger with it; or have a bottle of Meg's All Wheel Cleaner on hand. It cuts through the hardest BMW brake dust; even if baked on for YEARS. Still takes some slight scrubbing just make sure to rinse well.

I've been using the CG CW&G at body solvent strength. I think it cleans as well as Dawn does and it does not affect some trim plastics the way Dawn can. First I spray it on the car with a pump sprayer, let it dwell and then power spray it off. Then I bucket wash it again at body solvent strength with mitts & sponges.

If the car is crazy dirty then I will use the FK1 1119 Soil & Coating Remover / Wax & Detail Pre-Cleaner. This stuff is amazing. Everytime I have used it I am amazed how much dirt I see melting off a car that I thought had been pretty well pre-cleaned.
