Street Dreams: Ford GT supercar, #1

Beautiful work - but wouldn't expect anything outside of exceptional from you.

What did you use for the matte tire dressing if you don't mind sharing?

With all due respects to the foreign exotics I've seen highlighted here, this GT is my absolute favorite automobile!

Beautiful job on the detail. I wish I could have been there just to slobber (near) this car!

SD,

Amazing work, especially on white (which is what I drive) so I can really appreciate the quality of work it takes to make white look "special".

I guess it is different strokes for different folks. I like the exterior design of this car but am VERY underwhelmed by the interior. In fact, I would take the interior of my current ride over this interior any day of the week.

I can agree with the above. The exterior is just awesome in every way. The interior is very very cold... lots of hard plastic and cold metal, not a pleasant environment... BUT when you put your foot down in it you could care less about the interior appointments and thats the truth.

You have to realize this is about a $140k car that can roll with the big dogs... they have to cut costs somewhere, they certainly did not cut back on performance or handling (the chassis is derived from Aston Martin btw)

The gearbox is amazing in this car, short, direct and very drivable fast and slow. I really think for the money its great, I did however smash my head fairly hard getting out of it as part of the hood technically is part of the door... that pissed me off.

Absolutely beautiful job on a sweeeeeeeet car.

I've heard that there are courses offered to owners of the GT, to learn how to drive the car. Most people who purchase it, don't realize the power under the hood and they end up wrecking it.

I also agree, it's one of the nicest cars I've seen:drool5:

I'd love to have that car, doubt I could handle it though!

A Z06 is more of a handful than this IMO. Not that the Z06 has more power it just isnt as precise as the GT.

I drove both the Z06 and Ford GT on the same day, same conditions... Ford GT felt very tight and the Z06 seems very loose (rear tires do not light to stay in tact)

I had not driven either car ever before but if you gave me one to throw around a track with more confidence I would pick the GT hands down.
