My wife's '93 Probe hasn't received much TLC in the last few years. The metallic blue clearcoat still looks good on most of the car.
But the roof and hatch are seriously milky-white hazy. (Like, "Did you buff the wax off?" hazy.) The hood is OK, maybe because it was painted once after an accident. The front and rear quarter panels wrap around to horizontal and they look fine. Just the hood and hatch. Frankly I don't know if the clearcoat is still there on those panels.
So what is this and what should we do? We'll probably trade this within 6 months, so we don't want to spend a lot on it. Is this a case for something fairly aggressive like Nu Finish?
In other news, this newbie just Blackfired his new WRX today, thanks to all of the advice I read on this board.
