Street Dreams: 50hr. Range Rover correction

As everyone(well almost everyone) knows, Dave, Bing and I are good friends and share what we find as it pertains to detailing(as we are gloss-it refugees).

Watching Dave get better with each car, and knowing stuff that took me 15 years plus to figure out is a really good feeling. From Rookie of the year to being in the starting line up daily to detailing all star has been fun to watch, and it is only the start of your career............ cannot wait to see what is next.

Awesome, awesome, work and post, David!!!

We are so proud of you !!!!

I would be so happy to adopt you ! :):):)

I only had girls in my first marriage, so I never had an opportunity to teach or work with a son.

Thanks again, for the super hard work, and the absolute best results !!

Man, that SUV was thrashed and trashed to start with... what a nightmare.
Great write up David and you're work is absolutely beyond compare... EXCELLENT!!!:notworthy:

I always learn either a LOT of good general technique or something very specifically useful from your write ups... thank you very much for doing these.:thumbup:

I think I have read most of your write-ups here at TID, several at Autopia, and a few over at L4P - but this one is one of the best IMO.

Great job man. Thanks for sharing so that we all can learn from it.

David,
You are a true magician! Only a wizzard :wizard: of your caliber could pull that one off. When I first saw the pics of that Range Rover, I comented that it looked like it was sanded with a brick. It absolutely amazes me that you were able to make it look like new again.
Beautiful job!!!!:clap::clap::clap:
You can work on my car anytime!!

David, you did an amazing job on this rover. When I saw the pre pics I was like 'what the heck.' You brought that car back to life again, just like new.

Absolutely stellar work! That post includes just about everything I would want to see as a starting detailer. Wash, clay, wetsanding (save that for a little later in your career if you're not "seasoned"), plastic treatments with buffing and dressing, Leatherique application with the luxury of time to dwell and work, etc., etc., etc. All the nooks and crannies done to give the customer probably more than what they expected.

Amazing work and confirms this place as the best collection of no nonsense detailing professionalism online!

Thank you, David, sincerely from one who appreciates what kind of work that is.

Wow Dave, AWESOME write up! I have only worked on a handful of RR's, but they all get HAMMERED so easily. Stunning turnaround, I really enjoyed reading this thread.:rockon::rockon::rockon::rockon:

No nonsense is right... how many people on here apply wax with their left ass cheek and buff it off with their right?
