Storing Sonus green clay?

How can it be done? I used the clay bar on my Civic maybe 3 days before I clay barred my girlfriends Accent. I'd usually spray some detail spray into a ziplock bag and store the clay in there. When I removed it a few days after, it seemed to be somewhat disintegrating and I had to clean it off with water to not make it as slimy.

Can I store it some other way that the clay wouldn't begin to fall apart so soon?

.. You've had no issues with the clay drying out?

Mine doesn't dry out even when I just leave blob of it stuck to the top of the lube bottle. I used to store my Griot's clay in some SpeedShine/lube, but IME the Sonus stuff stores fine "dry".

It is also best to not store it in a hot place, it tends to soften and get a little sticky when it gets hot.

Lynn, when Sonus Green cools back down it is fine correct? I assume it does not get ruined from the heat?

On the reverse side, if you leave some clay in your garage in the winter and it freezes, once defrosted it is fine?

Yes, it should be fine. My garage gets cold in the winter and very hot in the summer and mine is just fine.
