lol that is pretty funny that you have people asking for money outside places that have help wanted signs and people who claim no one is hiring when these fast food joints always got signs up. I am not saying this is the greatest job but better than having your children starving.

Good to see ya. Have you tried using the suede MF towels from JT International? I use those on glass, and they do not lint. Most times I clean the glass with the towel only, and it comes clean.

I use both Stoner’s Invisible Glass and Eimann-Fabrik’s Clear Vision. Sometimes one works better, sometimes the other, and sometimes it takes both. I think it depends on what kind of gunk is on the windshield.
Normally I use old newspaper (less ink on my fingers than yesterday’s paper) for the initial wiping, and a good MF cloth (I like the Viper Glass Cloth best) for the final polishing. On really nasty glass, #0000 steel wool is a good substitute for newspaper.

will the steel wool get rid of scratches that catch my finger nail on the outside of the windows...it seems that the winter months got grit on the rubber edge and now as i roll down the window it has scratched them

I've never polished before, but I'm about to try Z-12 on my daily driver. Don't think it's abrasive enough for your scratches.flyby said:
