I believe he is/was a trump fan, so He may have moved pre-emptively since early reports had Hillary ahead..........
 
Like everyone else with their concerns for Stokdgs; I, too, hope he is OK.
I did receive a message reply from him in way back in April of this year (2016) and he used to check the "Like" button on some of my posts. His Autopian forum user info says he is in Lake Pumas, CA (!!!! supplied). Not having his extensive detailing experiences and posts in this forum is a huge loss to ALL fellow Autopians.
Also missing in action is Ron Ketcham (AKA, Grumpy); Scottwax (Yes, I heard/read he is on Facebook within the detailing interests), and my detailing idol, Barry E. Theal who is CEO of Presidential Details and also CEO of Americana Global Inc (he DOES check in now-and-then when he has time from running highly successful detailing businesses)

Ron is active on FB groups
Barry is fine too
He sold his one business /brand
 
Hope everything is ok with Dan. I always enjoy his input and expertise. Come on home Dan everybody misses you buddy.
 
Yeah, Ron and I emailed a while back and all is well with him. (I`d lost his email in a PC crash, glad he stayed in touch.) He sent me a Ford bulletin on their Paint System that I need to study some time...

Didn`t know that Barry sold his business, gotta call *him* one of these days too..haven`t spoken since he was in MI detailing with David Fermani.

I too hope Stokdgs is doing OK...sounds a bit ominous the way he`s dropped out of sight/touch.
 
He and I talked back in early/mid October. At the time he mentioned his mother and said that he thought it was about his turn to go and take care of her for a couple of months. I think he said she was in Texas.

That`s what I`m thinking, I believe they are in San Antonio and he had also mentioned to me something among the lines of taking a trip here to TX soon to see family.
 
Man, i really tried looking. After some dead ends, I didn`t know which way to go. Sadly, I even looked through obituaries online.
 
Just spoke with Dan. All is well. He`s in San Antonio (as mentioned previously) with family. His mother passed away before Christmas. He was able to spend some quality time with her. All in all, he`s been doing exactly what he should have been doing. He`s heading back home on Thursday and said he`d check in and tell us all about his experience. He was grateful to know that the forum missed him. Dan is a good man.

Thanks for the update, GearHead. Very happy to hear Dan is ok and was focusing on his family.
