Still can't work out PO85RD

Did some mucking around with Menz PO85RD final finish and no matter what pad, speed (up to 1300 rpm or working time) , I always end up with a good finish but a sticky, damn hard to remove residue

Is it that the menzerna rd hasn't broken down.

I know that it hangs around for ages when buffing it but why am I always getting this problem

Fortunately I have many other compounds and polishes

Is the intensive polish po85rd 3.01 product softer in cut that PO91L IP

This is the reason that I don't use RD that much.

What speeds and edge foam pads are best for it..

I suspect you are using too much of the P085RD. Next time, just drizzle a thin line (1/8 - 3/16 inch wide half way out the pad radius or a dollup sized between a dime and a nickel), smear over the paint and then hit the power. As with a lot of "detailing things" - less is more. BTW, change pads often as pads loaded with product can lead to your situation as well.

So a 6 inch line is too much. OK I'll try everyone's suggestions

I haven't been clogging up pads with any products for quite a while now thanks to the pro's here

Obviously though, the RD is tricky for me but worth using

I used my new bottle that I received yesterday on my car last night. Used a PC on speed 6 with a white 4" polishing pad. I worked the polish until it began to dust. I didn't have any problems with removal.
