sticker removal help

i have an 02 silver jetta and i need to get a sticker off the bumper and i'm not sure what to use. It isn't a regular sticker it is one of the ones that doesn't peel off and has some kind of super adhesive under it. I don't have a digital camera at my house but i will try and post some pics. Any ideas?

Welcome to Autopia. Try 3M general purpose adhesive cleaner. You can find it at your local automotive paint supply stores. If they don't stock it, more than likely they can order it.

Most stickers can be removed by heating the sticker with a hair dryer. Try that first. I've removed several dealer stickers with that method, though bumper stickers may be a bit stronger.

I also suggest a hair dryer. Heat it up, peel it off, use an adhesive remover like goo gone or something to get the residue off, wax the area and your good to go!
