Well for Xmas i got around 500$ in detaling supplies. Gone are the days of running to walmart for some zymol. or detailing spray and some applicator pads.

I got the ultimate kit from zaino, and a PC with a good assortment of pads

Im glad i stubled on this website a while back, because i def. have learned about keeping my car in great shape, and some stuff i used to do that was actually very bad

So i look forward to acheiving better results and better care of my car

here are some pictures from the detail i did a couple days ago, using zymol, and using a walmart orbital buffer. So i can fully expect to see better results using zaino and a PC.

do you try to polish them first?

there are several threads about people polishing them with some good info and great results

i actually havent yet, i do plan on it but still the headlights are the worst condition on the whole car, but its common on plastic lense headlights

that is true, but you will be utterly surprised to see what some wetsanding, or even just compounding will do.

If you want a solution that sounds of the deep end but is a miracle try silver or brass polish

That is right . You will be completely amazed by it .

I did my camera screen that was a mess and came out 100 % perfect .

Let me know how it works out for you .

Cheers , Jean Paul

KnuckleBuckett Hi Jean Paul!

I just tried brass polish on an old Sony Walkman cover. Wow! Good advice!

Glad it work out OK . I have used in all sorts of plastics and glass and it works incredible . It just sounds too weird to be true . :secret

Cheers , Jean Paul
