Starting off in the Detailing world

Well, this is my first post, and I've just started doing automotive detailing within the last 3 weeks on a "Serious" level. Here is my friends Silver 1990 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo I detailed about 2 weeks ago.

welcome! Its hard to tell from the lighting in the pictures how well done they are.. but they look good from what I can see . Maybe take some pics out in the sunlight?? :2thumbs:
 
Nice pics and all, but what the heck did you do with the cars?? just wash and wax or what?



You said you started detailing on a seriuos level? so what did you do to the cars?

Cars were basically just a wash/wax. Although I must say the Spoked BBS wheels on my friends Z were a whole lot of fun to get clean. I did polish and clean those as well of course.

Did you polish, or wash? Not sure if you're aware, but polishing is an abrasive process designed to remove defects like swirls and scratches and it's different from merely washing.
