Goodness, it's been a spell... Imagine my suprise when I logged in and realized I hadn't done that for a year! Time flies, and then its spring, again!
I traded my nice charcoal Regal for a white Grand Cherokee, and have realized that I have no idea how to take care of a light colored vehicle. Strange, no? I have yet to give the new truck its first detail, and am beginning to gather supplies for its first real "treatment". But, I also need to get a few supplies for my husband's worked-out-of blue Ford Ranger.
I have (will have):
Gold Class Shampoo
Meguiars Clay (big gold bar from local supplier)
Klasse AIO (assuming it's still *good*)
Klasse SG (assuming it's still *good*)
Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant (on the way)
4* UPP Spray (on the way)
What I'm looking for are the in-betweeners - the steps between clay and seal. I would like a nice, gentle polish/swirl remover for the Jeep, because I can see very light marring even though its white. It would also act as a final polish for the Ranger, which needs something stronger. I also need PC pads to match, because I think I'll retire my Megs pads. I realize I'm going to get a lot of ideas, but I'm mainly interested in maybe giving Poorboys, Menzerna, and Wolfgang a try this year. I'm probably going to go the synthetic route, but may opt into a carnauba later this summer as well, so would like something that would work under both. Any suggestions for an out-of-practice lady?
