started "winterizing" the garage today

The weak point of my garage is the windows, I mean I insulated the walls and the big doors last winter, then this summer I put in two new entry doors, the last thing on the list is new windows and that will have to wait till next year. So today I went and got some 4mil plastic for the windows, put 4 layers on each window for a 16mil total, doesn’t look the greatest but When we just got home it was 57 in the garage and it is 39 outside. I haven’t had the heat on for a few days either… looks like it is worth it so far.

what are you using for heat in the garage while you're in there, just space heaters or something else? I'm trying to decide on what I want to do in mine, been looking at some infrared heaters that hang from the walls so far, but they're WAAAY expensive (lookin for cheaper alternatives)
