stained up some wheels, suggestions??

After about 90+ hours this week I was finishing today off by prepping a 2000 Prelude for a.m. detail on Monday, the drivers side was covered in tar and to save on clay time i sprayed it done with body solvent, after rinsing I noticed both wheels are completely stained (white milky) I have encountered this a couple of times with acid sitting to long and have been able to polish the stains out, but I am wondering what are some of your procedures for bringing back stained wheels, they are CC aluminum. As many responses as I can get tonight would be a plus, it is scheduled for pick up Monday at 5pm
 
yea I would like to know also, I stained my clearcoated wheels a month ago with some apc

I did have some succes wit megs #9 on a buffer on my drell. I would say try a least aggresive polish witha power tool like this or if you have orbital
