SSR2, AIO, WGx2 review

SSR2 is very easy to use, and of course it's great that it works so well in the sun. I used it on speed 6 with a green Propel pad. There were very few swirls in my car, so the purpose of using it was mostly to remove old products from the finish.

AIO as always is a pleasure to use. Easy on, easy off. Gives a nice smooth base. I applied it by PC with a blue Propel pad on speed 4.

WG sealant is really beautiful stuff! It went on very easily with a damp foam applicator. I applied it to the whole car and then let it dry for about 1.5hrs. The next day (Saturday) I went out and washed the car off with QEW, and added another layer of WG by hand. Same thing...let it dry for an hour or so, and then remove.

This time while I waited, I polished my chrome muffler with 1Z Chromepflege and a cotton towel, and then sealed with WG. I then went on to polish the engine bay with Chromepflege. (More was done to the engine bay this morning, including AIO on all painted surfaces and more Chromepflege polishing) :)

Do I dare to say it? WG is extremely close to the slickness of UPP! I don't know which one is slicker...and that's really saying something!

So here's a couple pics I got this evening. I'll take my car over to the lakeshore to get a few better pics tomorrow or Tuesday.

I did get one picture while there was still a good deal of sunlight...

Thanks for the review.

I, too, really like how slick WG is when you first apply it, but for me, the slickness faded far too quickly. It still held some appearance but after 3-4 washes, that slickness was almost completely gone.

I do like the WG appearance though.

After washing the car with QEW yesterday morning, the car was still very slick. I'll have to see how the slickness holds up after a few washes. I'll probably be topping it with Paste Glaz quite soon though. I just HAVE to see what Paste Glaz does to the finish. :spot

I had the same thing happen as what Zano O said. The first week was amazing. However, after the first or so wash, the slickness that was present at first began to dimish significantly. I feel that UPP slickness held up a lot longer than WG, just my opinion. I eventually topped WG with Pinnacle Signature, but that only added some depth and the flakes to pop a little more. It didn't do much for the slickness. I don't like to play favorites here, but UPP is my go to from now on. Nothing I have tried compares to it.

I still love UPP. I haven't had an opportunity to really test WG yet. It's only been on the car for 2 days! I'll update this thread after a couple weeks pass.

The look and feel is similar to UPP. I must say I prefer the smell of WG over UPP though.
