SSR1 or Professional Polish

So which is the milder polish? The bottle of Pro Polish I have seems to be very abrasive. It seems grittier (rubbing between fingers) than SSR1 and SSR2! But the label lists it as a preceeding step to using a final glaze or wax.

Actually there was one batch where there were slightly more abrasives added, we found that that batch worked a little deeper into the finish and was also a slight bit easier to use, but I prefered the original formula and switched it back:)

so PP DOES have some abrasives???

most bottles have an abrasive so fine it's not really considered abrasive by touch, but one batch did have some that could be felt:)

I must have product that came from the batch made with more abrasives. I can def feel the grit between my fingers. Oh, and I made sure to shake the bottle first! :P

And just to clarify, this is not the Pro Polish With Carnauba I am talking about. It's the plain old Poorboys Pro Polish. I use it as a cleaner on otherwise swirl free paint before I apply EX-P.

thx

With the SSR1 do you apply it and let it dry to a haze or do you apply and wipe? I plan on 1st using the 2.5 and buffing until the producty is gone. Is that correct?

use it the same as SSR2.5

What setting should I use on the PC for both product? How many passes are recommended? How small of an area should i work at a time? i've never used a PC and abrasive polishes before. Can't wait for the results.
