SRT-10 Dodge Viper gets Wet Ice over Fire treatment by Tru Shine!

Such a baller writeup... perfect pics, perfect correction work, professional as can be, some trifecta Eric!

btw the shot of the before, during and after haze is awesome, never seen that before!

+1

I think Eric just raised the bar on 50/50 shots. Stepped the game up with a before/compound1/compound2/polish pic.

Very nice work!

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I hope that I can continue to raise the bar and put out even better write ups with even crazier cars. I plan on doing nothing but to grow even bigger from hear on out!\m/

great job on the viper. Did the owner ask about the pits?
I informed him as I was going, with what we had to work with. and that I would do what I could to help them become less noticeable, but that the were never going to be completely gone without some hard core wetsanding. but then at that point the clear coat wouldn't be able to do it's job being so thin.

Eric,

I want to thank you for your detailed write up. I learn alot from the way you document you steps and the photo's a spot on.

What did you use on the tires they look great.

The viper looks like a pool of oil!

Thanks, the tire dressing is some stuff called "New look dressing" from a local product supply company. I love the stuff, last for a really long time and can look really wet or just a little, all depending on how much is applied or how long it dwells.

pics are not showing up just ed x's

not sure why, no one else is having probs?:scared:

Fantastic work again Eric. Your work keeps getting better every time (not that it wasn't always great). Like Dave, I am also very impressed with the pic of the different stages. Would you mind sharing with us, how you did that?

I love looking at your details. You really have a great knack for detailing.

Keep it up my man!!

Thanks Barry,

I noticed that the before side was a lot darker and deeper black then where I had compunded with the cyan pad, and at that point I wandered why? so I decided to add a strip of tape on the edge of the hazy part and use the next step, and then after that step I moved the tape over that area, and did the polishing step, and that picture is what I was left with.

Hope that doesn't confuse you, lol

Thanks jeff,

Great Job! I too loved the 25/25/25/25 shot. That was cleaver

thanks man

Fantastic work Eric!

I love the car and what you have done to it. With a little wetsanding you could have had a 20/20/20/20/20 shot.... just sayin' ;)

Did you end up protecting the soft-top with anything?

Haha, I should have done the 20/20/20/20/20.......i'll save that for the next one. as long as no one beats me to it. :D.

no I offered to treat it with RaggTop fabric treatment but the owner was like.
"If it's raining, I aint driving the car, and if I'm driving the car the top is down" so he didn't want to worry about it. :) seems logical to me :-?
