SRP coming to Walmart?

I have seen Autoglym HD wax at my local Walmarts. I have also seen Autoglym Super Resin Polish at Pep Boys for $14.99 but that's too rich for my blood. Does anyone know if Walmart is going to carry SRP? Also, is SRP easy to use by hand? I have Poli-Seal but I don't think it applies easily by hand so it is reserved for PC usage. I'm looking for an easy-to-use AIO by hand. TIA

I just picked up some SRP couple weeks ago and yes it's very easy to use by hand. One of the nicest products of it's type I have used.

I also like working by hand for things like waxing and pre wax cleaners. I really only use the machine for correcting paint.

Keep SRP off trim and you shouldn't have any problems by hand *or* machine. Oh, and remember to use a dry applicator.

Sheesh, sure wish they sold SRP OTC in my area! Even at ~$15 I'd say it's a bargain. Compare to how inferior $15 worth of regular cleaner-wax would be by comparison!

No it doesn't clean as well as KAIO, and its abrasives aren't as effective as those in ZAIO, but man-oh-man is it a nice product.

I'm sure that SRP is worth $15, but if I buy something that I don't actually need and then see it selling somewhere else for less, it just eats at me. Having three college-bound kids takes the fun out of buying unnecessary things. Thanks for the input though. It's an honor to have you respond to my post.

FWIW, Amazon has the big bottle for $14.99 and it qualifies for free shipping.

keep an eye out for the AG HD wax. i've seen it at another walmart marked down to $18 last night. for some reason, i think they are going to phaze it out quickly to make room for the other AG products (only to phase those out eventually lol). i'm sure they monitor how long something sits on the shelves and move it out if it doesn't sell quickly. they only have so much room for products...

I think the HD wax is actually moving quite well at my Walmart. It seems that they are out of it every other time I go in there (and I always check:chuckle: ) When they do have it they often have four or five.

it also comes down to the area i suppose (some will do better than others). but the two walmarts i went to, they've had them on clearance and on the endcaps there were displays for turtle wax and megs (the turtle wax was doing quite well, go figure). the average consumer will not pay $30+ for a wax/sealant. time will tell how short or long lived AG products will be at walmart and for those who are interested in their products, it would be best to purchase it when they have it (you never know how long it will be there) since they are most likely going to be the cheapest around...

I seen that they sold 2 kits of HD wax, at full $49 price, plus one from me at $35-Can Tire sale.

Bought the SRP today and did a quick once over on a gold Equinox. Very impressed. Applying I found it a little sticky(by hand), with a water spritz, it went on a lot smoother.

Removed left over mineral spirit-tar removal residue with ease.

Removal was painless. Left a nice smooth surface and shine.

It smells like some other product, but I can't remember what.

Huh, I've always found SRP to be something that doesn't play nice with water

It reminds me of turpentine, or oil-based paints from childhood art classes.

Ya I seen your post and the instructions also say a dry pad, but in this case it worked better. I did just use it for a quick paint clean, much like a wax, so I was just going for coverage.

Worked well. I did try it with the rotary on a scuff -paint transfer, and it filled quite well, but did have to break out the SIP to remove most of the defect.

No Hd in walmarts in my area, they do carry a few of the auto glym line in pep boys in my area..

Wish i could find it on sale in walmart id by 2 as well..
