Spritzing panels before AIO (PC) application?

Hi guys,

Have been lurking this forum for a while now but was hoping for a little advice!

When applying AIO by pc I found it was drying out quite quickly. I live in the UK so hot weather wasn't the order of the day!

The next time I used this I spritzed each panel with sonus acrylic spritz and found I was able to work the AIO for longer without it drying out, it was also easier to remove.

I would like to continuw with this practice but just wanted to make sure it was a recognised practice or at least safe!

TIA :bounce

I spray a couple of spritzes on the pad with either EOW&W or water before I start with the AIO. That seems to be about perfect in terms of it not drying out so fast, and not over wetting it to where it might seem a little diluted and not clean as well. I would try that next time, if it does'nt work for you than go back to the other method that works for you...

I like to use water or a QD for spritzing the pad, with each dollop of AIO.

I prefer to save the Sonus for cleaning up any streaks left after buffing off SG.

For me, the Sonus is a bit expensive to use as a buffing aid (just my opinion).

Cheers guys but this wasn't priming the pad but priming the panel as I was spraying directly onto the panel and then buffing. Same principle though? I did use soem on the pad as well!

I wouldn't do that, always the pad, the foam machine polishing pads and the hand held pads but, as always, to each his own.

Ditto that's what I was saying too, I personally would'nt do that... But if it's working for you, then by all means...
