Spring and the new Zaino products

It has nothing to do with zaino.

No it really wont hurt anything.

It also wont remove any LSP for ish.

IPA wipe down will remove any LSP quickly and easily.



Test it yourself.

Wax/seal both your front fenders.



Have yourself and a few freinds/family inspect both fenders, touch it, feel it and spray water on it, watch how it beads.



Wash one side with Dawn. Inspect again.



The other side do a IPA wipe down. Inspect again.



Should be pretty obvious which method removed the LSP.

I ran into that problem the other day, there was so much wax on the car that both my Cyclo and PC pads were gumming up almost immediately and OP was smearing instead of breaking down. Now I am going to end up having to redo the car because I never could break all the way through the wax and correct the paint as much as it needed. This is the first time I've not been able to get through whatever is on a car. I figure an ONR/isoproply alcohol wash should bust through what is left.

I think that's what tends to happen when I don't remove at least some of the wax on the surface prior to polishing. The spraydown with the 50/50 ISO is pretty quick, and it only takes me 5 or so min to do an avg sized car. I just do it one panel at a time as if I were quick detailing a car. Seems to work for me, and it's a bit easier on my pads. :)

I don't think you'd have to wait 12 hours before using the Z8. You would have to wait until it's dry or has cured, but I'm not sure which. If it's until it's dry, then it's about half-an-hour. If it's until it's cured, then *at the extreme* it would probably be around six hours, but I applied Z8 after only an hour of cure-time and didn't have any problem.
