Spray Waxes... Pointless?

Took me maybe 20 minutes to apply Carnauba Moose to a Corvette and buff it off with a 50/50 blend of Optimum Car Wax and Werkstatt's Carnauba Jett. :nixweiss



Optimum Car Wax is a pretty good spray wax.
 
I can see where you're coming from I find the DP spray sealant a pain to use compared to a conventional liquid or even quicker still paste wax but it caries product to product.

Huh? Spray waxes are almost always WOWO, except the old formula Reflections Spray and the Megs NXT booster. The new RSW is WOWO though...
 
Yep, it seems that I missed a few words here and there. Still my post kinda semi-fits.

I haven't used the Megs QW, Xpress LW or PB's QW+, so I can't comment on them, but obviously Mothers also came up with the conclusion that the SOLHWO (spray on, let haze, wipe off) method is not the right approach. SOWO is the most effective.



I have to include FK1 FX-100 here because it is originally recommended to let it haze. But it behaves finicky that way. Better to apply it like a true QD, or spray it directly on the towel. It is almost like OOS, as it disappears immediately.

I have all of the AJ stuff carnauba jett and carnauba quick detail as will as AJT and AJ quick detail. AJ CJ hazes like crazy and I can never seem to get all the hazing off the car

after buffing twice and applying Quick detailer "AJ quick detail" on the towel to buff off.



With base coat of 3X FK1000 and 2180 goes this,

Survian new Carnauba Spray wax is my favorite! it goes on and wipes off as easy as it's applied, very fun product to work with and smells like vanilla two!~

My Black M6 has the wax on for almost a week now and looks like I just applied the thing on it!

I think you are referring to JW CJ right? Or are you mixing AJ with CJ?
