I got a gallon of this stuff and diluted it 50/50 in a 16 oz meg’s bottle. Stupid me. I sprayed it to clean my lug nuts which were nasty. So i sprayed all 5 holes only. But then the S&R was sliding on the rim and after 30 secs i pressure hozed it down. Now i have the marks of where it was dripping on my Polished Aluminum Cobra rims.
I then decided to spray the entire rim with S&R and resulted in stripping away the polish. But the problem I have is that all 4 rims are scarred and not even adams metal polish #1 or never dull can fix it.

You may want to invest in a polishing ball attatchment. I'm almost sure that they can be polished back out to a high shine. Only that it will take alot more then elbow grease. You can pickup one of those mothers powerballs or flitz makes one too. Or you can do what i did and hit up harbor freight tools or any other cheap tool store and look for a polish ball attatchment. I paid like 8 buck for one. It doesn't have the mothers name but it does the same thing.

Also try getting some of the mothers aluminum polish and try that with the wheel. if that don't work. Do a google search on CDA Metal Polish This stuff i think is better then anything you can buy at autozone.


EDIT... Also you don't want to use any harsh cleaners on your polished wheels. Anything like simple green,meguires hot wheels, spray and rinse any other acidic cleaner will stain them. AutoMagic sells a cleaner called MAGnifcent wheels cleaner. It cuts dirt/grime like Acid does on chrome only its not acid.

Message me if you want to find out more about the Magnifcent once you get them polished back out.
 
You will need to polish them back out with some type of machine power behind a polish, as said above

....as the label says ...Spray & Rinse is NOT intended for uncoated Polished Aluminum Wheels....
 
actually adams metal polish #1 & 2 are the best i have ever tried. But i guess this situation cals for alot more work,
 
yea, just imagine adams metal polish with the power of a machine powered flitx ball/mothers power ball..
