spray detailer/wax for plastidip?

they make a dip coat spray but it's expensive ($30) and I got to believe that a few other things will work...just to add a bit of sheen to a wheel set......maybe aquawax?

experts?

for my "winter wheels" for going up north in late October - this is plastidip metallic anthracite plus their glossifier....really came out nice:

Yeah ....may paint something to test that...my plastidip is coated with glossifer, (their clear coat) ....still not a total gloss product...

I have a test piece drying....

I have heard of people using tire dressing to add more gloss to plasti dip. On my old GTO I used Megs #40 from time to time. It didn't really add any gloss but did help restore the color when the wheels were looking dingy.

Wheels look great, BTW!

tried about 6 spray seals and waxes, duragloss aquawax is the winner - even over Plastidip's "Dipcoat"

I have used Sonax brilliant shine detailer on my dipped wheels and worked decent. I will have to get out my aquawax and do a wheel of each to see what works nicer. the sonax if i can remember didnt add much depth in darkening like a trim products does. Does aquawax deepen the color of the dip?
