Spray and Gloss or Quick Wax

I'm getting ready to order some products to clean up the vehicles and i was wondering what the pros and cons are for the SG and QW? Basically i'm looking for something to use after washes for the extra shine. It seems to me that both of these products accomplish about the same thing?

I was also wondering what the difference is between the EX and EX-P? Does one provide a shinier finish or more durable finish? thank you.
 
It really depends what you're looking for when it comes to a comparison between S&G and QW. S&G has some cleaning abilities and will boost the shine on your vehicle. It will not add any protection to your finish. QW is just what the name says it is. It will add shine and protection to your finish. As far as I know, it doesn't have any cleaning abilities.

The only difference between EX and EX-P that I know of is that EX has carnuba in it and EX-P is a pure sealant.

I can't really give you advice on which you should get in either grouping because I have only used one product from each comparison.
 
I use Spray & Gloss after every wash before drying ...it spritz a little on and then dry the panels, including the glass and trim. It makes the finish slick and glossy:rockon

audiboy already answered the EX / EX-P question;)

QW+ does have cleaning ability and can be used as a stand alone product...it can be used by hand or machine and will remove oxidation on older finishes.

Very well put :bigups. SG is a gloss enhancer with very little cleaning ability and will make you finish slick and shiny :D . QW+ is a (like you said) spray wax. It will add protection and is great for a quick wash and wax.

The EX gives you more of a carnauba look (deep, wet, etc...) usually used with darker color cars. EX-P will make the finish POP and bring out metallic paint chips. Usually used for lighter color paints.

If it helps any, the "cleaning" of QW+ is referring to cleaning of oxidation etc. such as a cleaner wax would, not so much cleaning of dirt from paint, such as you might with S+W. (At least that's my experience/understanding with/of them.)

Yeah, that's what I was originally referencing. I wasn't sure if it was like a cleaner wax or not.
 
Well i wouldn't use it quite like a QD thus the changing of it's name from QD+ to QW+ because of some people being confused:hmmm:, but the original question in this thread was what to use after a wash:notme:

I thought this is when many people use a QD:hmmm:
but then again I've been out in the heat too long:crazy2::wall:passout::passout::passout::surrender
