A company NOT PREMIER, came to remove previous old film and install new film had a little problem with leftover residue and marring, so my customer told them STOP right there and called me in to hopefully correct the matter.

Fortunately for them and my customer it was not real bad(requiring sanding heavy correction etc...) so I lightly compounded and polished to prep the area for Premier th finish the job. The correction and detail are scheduled for the 25th of this month.

Some of the residue left behind.

During the fine polish stage.

All better now.........this could have been REAL BAD and costly to fix(carbon fiber panels) if a re-spray was in order.

Nice job, I did an Enzo last year and I have to say I hope I never do another one. They are the worst car to work on.....definetely not designed with a detailer in mind. LOL Too many sharp angles and not enough space for machines. Beautiful car and I am glad I got the chance to detail one though.

Once again, nice job

The MC12 Maserati is worse with the front hood covered in thin strakes to preclude ANY correction to that portion of the car. Did a Pagani as well and that was not fun either in respect to tight spots(although the first time I did it I sat in the driver seat for over a half hour just drinking in the tightness)Lamborghini Gallardo's are also on the "list" as I have a Silver SE in the shop now and the buttress portions near the engine cover are painted black and are a B***H to get to for correction(for full figured detailers such as myself lol).

Almost forgot F-40's are on the "list" as well for the lexan polycarbonate window covering the engine bay(one more 430 scud has the same thing and the suport bars need to be removed to polish the entire window).

Bob,

Is your shop floor carpeted? If so, how well does that work for you?

Thanks,

Tim

That's a clients garage. Bob's actual work garage is pretty sweet, it has cement as with many other things. Cool work!
