Souveran paste vs Pete's 53 ?

Currently considering which one to get...



mine's a metallic dark grey.



also have new bottles of opti seal and swissvax cleaner fluid. (all on impulse)

and of course have some leftover p21s pcl.



which ones do you guys suggest ?

I have both and Pete's '53 not only looks EXCELLENT, it's also one of the longest lasting waxes I've tried. Souveran, you're lucky to get 2 weeks.

There was a thread about Petes 53 just the other day.



Petes 53 just like Nattys Red do give a much more concours looks the Nattys Blue or Orig.



Personally, i prefer Nattys red.



With regard Souveran, it looks deeper, darker and wetter and can there for mute some weak metalics. Just ensure you have RMG beneth it and it should be fine.



For those that say it only lasts a short time, i think its different for different people. Here in London i have applied it once per month after 2 initial coatings and see good beading through out the 4 weeks.



Also, with Souveran you can get the spray wax, which is a great product in itself, i highly recommend you get some :up

oh man i cant really make up my mind, seems like souveran and pete 53 have similar quality in terms of look, only diff is in durability i guess.



so yeah i might buy both , since both are on sale.



anyone knows how long these waxes can be kept for ? ie whats their shelf life ?

I remember you first getting this and using it, but hadn't had it long enough to form a solid opinion. Sounds like you really like it. Would you mind elaborating on how it is better than original P21S and other carnaubas?
 
Souveran,Pete's 53 & 5050 are all terrific waxes to add to your arsenal. You can't go wrong with any of them. To me, Pete's 53 is very "Souveran" like in terms of appearance, consistency, texture, and the finish it produces.

(Thats is a $15 savings too btw!)
