Hey all,
Have read around a little and finally stopped long enough to register. You all are full of all kinds of good info. Unfortunately I can this will end up lowering my available cash balance...

I was looking through one of the towel threads and saw the pic of some ones collection of tubs filled with towels and pads. I still can't decide whether to show that to the GF to prove I do NOT have more towels than I need or if that will just make her run away.

I'm driving a 08 Dark Candy Apple (or whatever they call it that year) that I picked up used about two years ago. It needs more shine so it is my project.
The GF decided she liked it too so after she got her first good nursing job out of school she bought a brand new 14 Gotta Have It Green Mustang and now understands why I like mine so much. Hers is in VERY good "from the factory" shape so it just needs kept clean and cared for.

I have been channeling/usng my O.C.D. to clean cars and motorcycles since before I could drive but now I am actually learning the steps to get those mirror like finishes. My hope is to keep building on what I know and work detailing into a part time job so I can jump out of the corporate rat race at some point.

Anyway, love the site, can't wait to soak up more info.

Welcome! One thing I learned real fast here is that there's always someone with a bigger towel/pad/wax collection.
 
I too hope to have some tubs full of pads and MF's someday. Slowly but surely the day will come on my budget. Oh, and welcome to AF Blackie!

I have to say she really isn't a shoe, clothes, make-up horder but she is a crafty girl and loves paper and things that will cut, fold and spindle paper so when I say she has "all the paper in the world" and her own room to hold it all I might actually be right.

I'll save that rebuttal for just the right moment, can't play all my cards at one.
