Sonus motor & trim kote

YES! Awesome product too. My usuall is megs hyper dressing 4:1 spray on/walk away. No need to let the enging dry after cleaning. After todd's review of the sonus, i wanted to try it. Glad i did.

:bigups Took a look this morning, and was greeted by a perfectly dressed engine. GOOD STUFF. The key here is not messing with it. Let it cure.

I applied it today to my 3 week old Q60 S.....took a long time to dry in our southwest florida humidity. It reminded me of water based poly urethane I use in my wood working shop.

Once it cures it leaves a nice finish! I think its a protective wax like finish? Mentioned on the bottle.

Polymer finish, kinda similar to a sealant for paint. I use Sonus on just about every engine I detail, on just about ever finish (save polished aluminum or chrome).

I might spray the wheel wells when i do my spring detail just to see how the sonus does. And it would be perfect to spray the whole undercarriage ON A BRAND NEW VEHICLE. Going to be interesting to see how long it lasts on the engine.

I just checked under the hood....I had waited nearly 3 hours before closing the hood yesterday afternoon and driving around the block and home.... today the coating is still wet... it looks shiny and looks dry, but it is "oily" to the touch and rubs off. I wonder what I did wrong other than apply when the temps outside were around 83 degrees and about 71% humidity?

Ok...I have an old bottle that is almost done. I have had it for years.

I think I might reorder another and give it another try....

Could it be that you applied too much product?
