It says that Spritz is a QD while Glanz is a "booster wax."

Is PB S&W technically a QD? If not, can someone define a QD?

I thought a Quick Detailer meant just that -- either a wash OR finishing compound that could be sprayed on and done quickly. But if QD refers only to a quick cleaning item (like a S&W), let me know.

Spritz might be similar to S&W, except it has that SONACRYLIX stuff in it which might make it better for a car done with Klasse (like mine).
 
I've been wrong on this before, so with that being said....... PB's S&W is not a QD, it's a waterless wash type product. From what I have been told/read is that a QD usually has some sort of "protection" in it. Be it wax or whatever, it will leave behind something. QD's are not normally suggested for use on a "dirty" car. Maybe someone with a little more qualification can chime in, I just didn't want the thread to be ignored.

Simply put, a wash or waterless wash is NOT the same thing as a QD IMO.
 
PB S&W is a waterless wash that does not contain any wax as JaredPointer stated.

QD- depending on which one you use gives a bit of protection to extend the life of your wax or Sealant. It could be used for minor smudges or dust. It is intended as it's name..Quick Detail, to give you that finished look in between washes or when in between "detail itches".

With that said, I personally recommend PB S&W. It removes dirt like nobody's business and without pulling out your hose buckets and your drying tools.

I still have not found a QD that I can say "I need a gallon of that stuff". 4* UGE is an astounding product but have not used it enough to rate it.

I think you guys nailed it...the Spritz does have some acryllic junk in it, the Glanz actually says let it sit a while and haze before removing (definitely has acryllic compounds in it). Both will "clean" a bit but not intended for dirty cars.

I used S&W and will use these to followup. Pics to follow.
