Research and designing



Some are asking how to apply the 38 tests that are out -- apply thinly, allow to cure for 5-10 minutes (basically work a panel a at a time) and then lightly mist / spritz your microfiber with a quick detail ( don't see why a waterless wash wouldn't work and distilled water may work as well but has not been tried)



Let me explain why, this wax is heavily infused with natural oils and natural polymers (along with other natural ingredients and waxes) however everyone is used to petroleum based waxes as probably every single wax you have used is



The trade off for an all natural wax? the natural solvents are slow to evaporate as opposed to synthetic / petroleum solvents that evaporate sometimes rapidly



Simple solution? light mist / spritz of your microfiber with a detail spray etc and issue solved, a spritz per panel should solve



Would this be an issue to you as a consumer? Please let me know as your feedback is critical to Son1c Wax development and everyone's opinion matters

A lot of feedback has been coming out from the sample pots sent out and I am actively pursuing enhancing the wax and it's performance, one of the main concerns was that it was too hard and hard to transfer onto applicators, this is being corrected and 38 vs 54 are a night and day difference / improvement towards a softer wax that spreads even better ( but mind this is still a hard wax -- just soft in comparison to 38, as many know carnauba is hard and this is packed full of it! ) but the recent testers have had zero complaints on transferring the wax to the applicator whereas prior it was an issue



Also the official containers and lids arrived last week ;) :D

Testing has been taking place with 54-58 in the ProtoWax line

The top label has been finalized and ordered

The side label is being finalized

The 57 and 58 Protowax's are a variation of ProtoWax 40, which is not my favorite but the favorite of several testers, so that is seeing some further testing and development

We tested Son1c Wax ProtoWax 54 and several others on Ryan's BMW, he wanted to use Son1c Wax ProtoWax 54 so we coated the vehicle in it!

There are currently 3 wax strands still active

One has now come full circle and evolved into SON1C Wax Carnaubavore



Two is an all natural wax strand however it is very different from Carnaubavore , more info and testing on this to come.





Three is a synthetic strand, synthetic counterpart to Carnaubavore





SON1C Wax 54x which is essentially Carnaubavore

Two all natural wax strands
Three synthetic strands, two are on hold
One all natural is almost done, another natural is 80%
The synthetics are rough and need more R&D
I have dispatched some recent samples
 
I am developing a product that has no relation to wax, but certainly detailing but I will disclose more on that later!
