Something magical about RED!

Anthony...

I am always blown away by your work !!! Although I am not a fan of the Menzerna line, it is obviously effective when used correctly.
Great Job !!!

Let me know when the Top of the Line video is released. I will reserve numerous copies for my auto enthusiast friends and relatives.:)

Awesome Job Anthony!!! Can you tell me more about Menzerna IP, FP and FMJ. Where do you get it? Also by machine what do you mean, PC, Cylo or Rotary? I would have started out with a rotary on it.

Awesome Job again!

Hey 02, Thanks :)

I get my Menzerna stuff from Dwayne.

The Menzerna PG is a water based paint leveling compund. Think of it as DACP on steroids!! Levels bad paint down quick and fast and if ti gets to dry you can spritz it with water and it will re-activate the PG so it can be worked longer.

The IP is more along the lines of DACP.

The FP is "da bomb" when it comes to evening out paint just before applying your favorite sealant and/or wax. I use it with my Cyclo and white pads and just really work the product in until all gone. It puts a great deal of gloss and POP to the paint. Love this stuff. It is not a strong cleaner, in fact on this Honda it hardly pulled any paint at all, but rather it polishes the paint to a high luster.

I did the leveling and polishing steps with my rotary, finished with my Cyclo, applied the sealant by hand.

Anthony, are the Menzerna products usable in the sun?

I don't believe they would work that great in the sun as they evaporate rather quickly. If you need stuff that will work in the sun you may want to use some Moose products and I also believe that Poorboy products can be used in the sun.

A big hearty THANK YOU to all those who have feed my ego even more by your compliments and kind words!

Thanks,

What did the customer say - after they picked up their jaw!

How long did the job take? Looks like you had plenty to do.

Anthony,
I am curious about the orange pad that you used. Is that the same thing as a 6.5 inch power pad that is also used on the PC? I have that pad and have used it on the rotary and so far it is about the only real success I have had with the rotary. Everything else seems to hard for me to handle and get results with the rotary.

Customer loved it......he thought his paint was a goner. He actually told me that the next day after I detailed it it looked even better!

This particular detail took me, all in all, about 9 hours total.

The "orange" pad is the 6.5 inch pad put out by Lake Country.

If the paint on this car had not been so bad I am sure I could of gotten away with a white polishing pad and the Menzerna Powergloss. I really only use that pad, and other cutting pads with my rotary.

I may have some new pads coming my way to try out and if they are worthy and up to Detail City standards I will put up a post on them:)

Adios,
Anthony
