Got some samples from Steve a few weeks ago. Had some nicer weather today, so I decided to give them a try. All products were used on my white X and a friends Black Protege 5.
First Up:
Premium Wheel and Tire Cleaner
Its kind of a gold/amber color with a not to bad scent. When I recieve this in the box the sprayer was separate. The tube was also detached, I placed them together and put the bottle away. Well, today when I went to use it the sprayer did not work, had to go out and buy a new spray bottle. This pissed me off. The product sez to spray on tire and wheel and let sit for about 1-2 minutes. Went around the X and did this. The stuff works real well, it started dissolving the brake dust basically on contact. After the time was up I hosed down the wheels/tires with some water and both were very clean. My X's wheels were not that bad, but the Protege's were alot worst. The chrome on her wheels came out very shiney. This is a very nice product, but something has to be done about those sprayers.
Premium Tire and Rubber Dressing
This product is clear/oily with a mild solvent scent. I had to apply this to a sponge, before applying to the tires. I guess the more you put on the sponge the wetter the look on the tire. The first few tires I did, I only put a little on the sponge and kind of got a matte finish. To me it did not look that good, so I put more on the sponge, WOW the tires came out really wet looking, way wetter then the #40 I've been using. The product takes a little while to dry though, but you can buff off the access, but it still leaves a very wet look.
Premium Detail Spray
This product is clear with a citrus scent. Well, on my white X it was real hard to see where I sprayed. It wipes on/off real easy. It left a nice pop on the finish. Well, long story short, but I did my friends black Protege 5 about 3 weeks ago. #80, CMW, full exterior and dash/console interior all by hand about 5 hours of work. Told her not to go to a car wash, I will give her some EO car wash, well she did go. When I started watering the car down, there was no beading what so ever, I was pissed. Well, after the wash/dry I applied the Detail Spray. I'll tell you what, the hood looked like a mirror. This stuff did an awesome job on what I would say just a plain ole finish. When she came out, she just said WOW! what did you do? Well, I wanted to surprise her, but she came out just when I finished the QD. I only went over to her place to wash and try out these samples. But I wanted to see how this stuff looked on black. All I can say is this stuff is amazing, worth the money.
Overall these are some very nice products. Would recommend them to all. The only thing is those sprayer's on the Wheel/Tire Cleaner have to be better.
