Some things just ain't right

We all complain about gas, including myself, but when you compare it the cost of other products we buy right now it's actually not so bad. At least Exxon can say that they have a limited resource that will eventually be depleted. But what is up with cost of milk, dairy products, and eggs? I know that a lot of the corn that used to go toward making the livestock feed has gone towards making ethanol (making the cost of the feed go up in price), but is the demand of ethanol that big to all of a sudden cause the prices of these products to jump up so drastically? Even at the crazy prices we Californians pay for gas, a gallon of milk actually costs more!
