Some old hand-inked car drawings...

YNOT

Poorboys Rules!
So I was diggin' through some old CD's looking for some old images and I stumbled across a few scans of some old illustrations I did back in the late 90's. These were hand inked on Bristol paper using Sharpies and flair tip pens and then colored with Pantone markers. Talk about old-school...sheesh. I haven't 'hand-inked' a car drawing since back in my technical illustration days.

Anyway, here they are, I hope you dig 'em. As I said, they're from the 90's so they're a little crude and dated but there's just something about a hand inked car drawing that I love!

Cool Tony! Thanks for sharing!

I have a hard enough time just staying in the lines when I color.

If you had not told us I would never had known, YNOT. Some things are timeless. I like the first sketch the best. Would be the kind of hotrod that I would love to own.

I marvel over the ability to put little details into the drawing. One of those tires actually looks as if it is showing tire wear. Or at least that is what came to my mind while viewing the sketch. Thanks!!
