1) I would recommend PC7424XP. I've used this polisher and love it. It's time consuming for paint correcting, but very safe for a beginner to use.
2) Blackfird wet diamond looks really good on black cars for a sealant. I would recommend using menzerna polishes or even some m205 and m105, but don't use the m105 until you need a lot of correcting.
3) If you have a Griot's garage around you than I would get that car wash soap, other wise Meg's NXT gen would be good OTC wash
