Some beauty shots, Corvette Stingray

I had a friend of mine who is getting into photography come along to take pictures of this detail. I just really wanted some content for my website including images of myself to use when I launch a whole new website. Had her snap pictures of the car and process as well since she was there and had a good camera. She has some things to learn about getting pictures of cars but I did get some great shots. This was just a wash n wax as the owner didn't really have much interest in getting it polished. Its been well cared for and swirls/scratches were minimal anyway.

Wheels - Griots HD Wheel Cleaner
Tires - Tuff Shine tire cleaner
Pre Soak - CG Citrus wash red
Wash - Megs Hyper Wash
Decon - Nanoskin fine grade mitt using wash soap for lube
Dried using WW towels and Metro vac n blo portable (clean hose only ever used for drying)
LSP - Pinnacle Souveran
Wheels sealed w/ Hydro2
Tires - Carpro PERL 1:1

Couple notes about the wax. Amazingly easy to use. Applied to the car in direct sunlight (about 65 degrees and sunny that day) and it was effortless to use. Also would like to thank Autopia for the "free" jar of wax along with the connect membership. The membership paid for itself just in the wax! Also was in disbelief to have fedex deliver a package on a Saturday! Already very happy with the connect membership and am looking forward to the next 12 months! OK on to the pics! :autopia:

Looks nice.....Rusty Rotors ? I always do a quick drive, hitting the brakes several times to get rid of the Rusty Rotors, then clean Barrels and Rims.....just a suggestion

Yeahhhh I couldn't help but see that stick out too. how do you clean the wheels and barrels without getting water on the rotors again? That surface rust is from me washing them. They were clean before I started.

i suppose I could start taking the cars for a quick drive around the neighborhood before snapping pictures

Looks good!!!! I usually wash one wheel at a time and then blow dry everything..that keeps the worst of the rust off the rotor. When all four wheels are done, a couple trips up and down the driveway cleans up whatever is remaining. Then a final quick wipe of the wheels to make sure everything looks good.

Beautiful! Is that a Karcher K5 540 in that back? How do you like it? I've almost purchased it a few times.

It's a K3 540. Been a great machine. Not too much pressure but plenty enough to do the work I need. 1800 psi I believe. The hose is pretty stiff but nothing too annoying. The first unit I bought stopped working after about 2 months but Karcher replaced it no questions asked. didn't have to return the bad one either, which I plan to repair sometime as it just wouldn't turn on anymore. The replacement one is now over a year old and hasn't had a single issue

Beautiful work, pics, edit, and post up !
Looks like your have the camera and photographer dialed in great !
Thinking the only way to get the rust off the rotors is to move the car a little with the brake on, after you are all done using any liquids down there and its dry..
Thanks for the hard work !

I wouldn't say dialed in quite yet. Camera is good but she had never taken pictures of cars before. Like I said, she has a bit to learn. I ended up getting over 300 photos on my USB drive and had to sift through all of them to pick out the good ones. Lots of pictures that weren't really framed well or the focus was so precise that one lug nut was clear, while the one opposite it was blurry. I'm not bashing her at all, we all start somewhere and she will learn I'm sure. I may have her come along and take pictures of the higher end cars I do. At least until I get my own nice camera.

blurry? were all the pictures still captures or in motion?

They were still. Just in some it seemed like the point of focus was the size of a dime so they look a little blurry everywhere but that little dime in the middle because it's not focused on anything more than a lug nut
