HiMyNameIsSean said:I really like the second and third picture. It's pretty amazing the accord is still beading like that after two years.
shine said:Cool shots. I'm guessing the Accord didn't get wash much either.
gtpaul said:It get's wiped down by my grandfather everyday. He's set in his ways unfortunately but at 84 I can't blame him for not being more active. lol
Lumadar said:Hate to be a party pooper, but that Accord is not "beading" in any way that something with wax would. That's just what water will do on paint with nothing there.
Notice how the part of the "beads" touching the paint expands out at the base, rather than sucking in, as if there were a truly spherical shape resting on it? That's because it isn't being pushed up, or held together from wax.
The X3 has nothing left either.
Setec Astronomy said:Well, call me a party-pooper too. Don't take this the wrong way, I don't know what Midnight Sun is, but IMO those beads aren't that great for 2 weeks old. I have several LSP's which would have rounder, tighter beads than that at 2 weeks or longer.
gtpaul said:We still have salt and snow.................................nothing last's up here.
gtpaul said:That was the purpose of my thread..... showing a well prepped finish(Cobalt) and comparing it to something that hasn't been touched in 2 years and a garbage wax.
bla bla bla - I'm not stupid.
