Soft scrub on leather?

Try Griot's Interior Cleaner on really dirty leather. Spray it on and let it sit for a while and then wipe off with a cotton towel. Follow up with Griot's Leather Care to seal and protect the now clean leather. I have had great results with both.

Do a search on this subject. It's been discussed many times before.

cool. This was something new/strange to me so I just wanted to share. I read the old posts.

I'm actually going to do this to my car in the spring.

Well the front two seats at least.

I'll be sure to take pictures and tell you how it goes!

First I need to source some Soft Scrub in Canadian Stores :)

Anyone?

Soft Scrub is not something you want to be using on leather.

:nono
That's certainly my first reaction as well, but why not? I mean, what is the reasoning behind it? Note in particular that the Soft Scrub that's recommended is the "lemon" grease cutting version that contains no bleach, and from the blurb on their website, it's unclear whether that version contains abrasives:
Soft Scrub® with Lemon

cuts tough grease without harsh scratching. It uses real lemon every time you clean your kitchen.
If this version of the product is a d-limonene cleaner in a lotion-type base, and has no (or very mild abrasives), how would it harm automotive leather? Again, I'm not going to be a guinea pig and go try it out, but I never would have thought peanut butter would be part of my detailing tool-kit, either . . .

Just curious,

Tort
