I think you would like the Pink Soap - plenty of suds and cleans well. Honeydew does well in foam gun/cannon but really did not really have much love for it as a bucket soap the one time I used it but may revisit it again later.

I voted for the 3D Pink Soap, but I still mix it with Griot's Car Wash to up the lubricity.

I'd buy the 3D in the 5 gallon bucket rather than in smaller quantities.

I will say 3D or Meg's. From others the 3D stuff is a great soap as well.

Went through a gallon + of the CG stuff it foams nice and has that nice fresh melon scent but that's really it. Cleaning is average.

The 3D Pink produces tons of suds, great lubricity and rinses well and quickly. It leaves nothing behind in the way of brightners, gloss enhancers etc Once my DG 901 is out I'm moving over to the 3D Pink after trying a sample on a couple of cars. Hard to beat the price also.

And you've used all of them?????

All but the CG Honey Dew. But thats because the other three soaps i've tried from CG have all failed to impress me Mr. Pink, Citrus Wash and Gloss, Citrus Red. I Also rate Meg's M62 rarely spoken of better than Hyper Wash.

When you test them out, you really can't see much of a difference in performance between a majority of these shampoos. The real difference is how they rinse away even at higher than noted dilutions.

The cleaning ability is one that baffles me...if you're using some sort of wash media, then how is this judged? Did you miss a spot?

Yeah shampoos like Avalanche, Auto-Foam, Gyeon Foam and IronX are supposed to be 'pre-treaters' or 'decontaminators', but they just don't work as advertised all the time or are just a pointless step to the wash process.

Now one shampoo stands out from all the U.S. Offered ones: Gyeon Bathe+...in a category of its own based on performance.

*I haven't used every shampoo offered, but I have used probably over 70 of them. These are my opinions, but I do test stuff before I form opinions.

Did indeed order a gallon of the 3D PINK SOAP to try.

M62 is the only Meguiar's shampoo that I found (*barely*) OK.

Regarding the (oh-so-pricey!) Ultima, seems like *everybody* who's used it thinks it's simply the best shampoo ever.

For everyday usage, I would agree George...Ultima. However if it's your car and you want to show it a little extra love (assuming it's in good-excellent condition) I would suggest giving DDJ Born To Be Mild a try. Best lubricity of any shampoo I've tried and dries spot & drip free. Awesome product.

Yikes, too pricey for my everyday use! But then I go through a *lot* of shampoo mix with my method.

addysdaddy & PA DETAILER- Thanks for suggesting the Born To Be Mild, that one slipped beneath my radar. Always intersted in shampoos with great lubricity.

I can't clean a normally-dirty vehicle with one pass of the media without risking wash-induced marring. My wash technque is so gentle that it takes numerous passes over an area to get it fully clean, at least if the vehicle is as dirty as mine usually get between washes. It's easy to tell how effectively a shampoo cleans by how many passes it takes (and the visible effect of each pass), the foamgun setting that appears to be required, and how much work needs to be done with the mitt/foamgun combo as opposed to the more gentle BHB/foamgun.
