So you a PRO? what makes you PRO?

hear that in the last days , just wonder what pro means in your book?

you call yourself a pro? why?

other call you a pro ? why?

who`s a pro? and why?

few simple questions that my help others understand why you ? why you are so special :think2

Who: A professional is someone who conducts themselves in a professional manner and who has expertise in their field.

Why: I call myself a professional because I am an expert at what I do, and operate to the highest professional standards; licensing, insurance, customer service, brand image etc.

Others: Call me a professional because of my impeccable customer service and knowledge of proper car care. People simply trust me to care for their cars.

IMO, I think the term "professional" has different meanings to different people. I personally dont think that you are necessarily a pro just because you get paid for your work. I detail in the evenings/weekends and get paid for it, but I am by no means a professional. For one thing its not my main source of income and second of all, although I believe i'm pretty good at what I do I know that I still have a lot to learn and my skill set is still not at the level of others on here. For example, I bet if Barry (Theal) or Scottwax just to name a few looked at my finished job they would probably laugh. My main reason for frequenting this site is so I can learn and hopefully make it to the level of other "pros" on here.

This has been brought up before, and I think Barry Theal put it best. "Someone who can properly clean and detail any car any situation, and make the customer happy". Those weren't his exact words, but you get the gist.

I see it as somebody whose profession is detailing. As in, their business, livelihood, means of making a living.

I think all three of the descriptions combined in something like..

Somebody who's profession is detailing, knowledgeable in proper care-care, is trusted by many to take care of their vehicles, operates to normal business standards(license, insurance, professional image, etc..), and someone who is able to detail any vehicle that is in any condition and keep a high level of customer satisfaction.

Thats what I think..
