I'm in! Been curious for more than a year but our Euro distributor has ridiculous prices so I kept waiting...

What do you expect from it?

I'm interested in what you have to say about it Jose. I think you are one of the most unbiased product testers here.

you may notice a better shine I did. But the biggest improvment is that it is easier to use, both in application and removal.

KingV the new Zaino is much easier to apply but from my personial experince with 1Z I would have to say that not many products could claim to be as easier than 1Z.

Dammit.... I still haven't had a chance to use the last "new" Zaino that came out. Uhmmm.... hey Jason, feel like hooking a brother up with some more samples? :D lol

Is this the NXT review thread? Hey, whatta ya say we test some NXT?! Please, please, please!!!! Come on guys :D (just kiddin'!)

I've never used Zaino. I already have too many products. It seems too "plasticky" looking. But what do I know.

I look forward to the reviews and ofcourse... PICS!

:wavey

Hey, you know me! I've tested and have been using NXT already! I said I like it very much!

But it doesn't exclude Zaino! I respect it and want to try/use it also. :xyxthumbs

I'm using Zaino for 2 years now

and

JGV,

I ordered through our European distributor,

I know I paid alot for the products AND shippingcosts AND fees for money transactions,

but,

I wanted to try it (fast , didn't want to wait )

and,

I'm happy with it and I have good results with it.

As I told many people who saw my car and asked what product I used : it 's all in the preparation, Zaino is the finishing touch.

I still have Z, so trying the "new" Z will have to wait 'till the "old" is gone

Christiaan

Christiaan, my grammar failed when I did the title question. I didn't mean testing the new Zaino products, but 'new to Zaino' testings, testing it for the first time.

I know it's all in the prep, in fact I only seal/top after I'm happy with the way it looks, like I could stop right there, after the prep.

That's a very handy 'how to'. I saved it together with the one from Nick T. for my reference.

I started this thread mostly for newbies on the Z process, both to know if there are any and their experiences.

Thanks for the link :xyxthumbs

It says on Zaino's website that you really need to use ZFX with Z5, is that true? All I have is Z1 and Z5, will it still work? Also, how important are Z6 and Z7? I don't have those, but will order them if they make or break Zaino.

Greg you can use Z5 with Z1 without problems, just make sure you wait till it's dry. How important is Z6 and Z7 , personally I say both are must have if you're going to use Zaino but I think you would be ok without Z7 but Z6 is an integral part of the application process and it does alot for the end result.

Detailbarn- can you explain? Honestly, I was just going to use a non-wax/silicone QD like EO WWS or FI to mist the applicator for application. What use does Z6 function for that a normal QD like the ones listed above. Obviously I understand that Z6 is designed for the Zaino system, therefore results are going to be the very best with it. I just really don't want to pay $8 shipping for a bottle of $10 QD unless I know I am satisfied with the system.

My thought was basically this, after my intitial testing of Z1 and Z5 and Z2, if I like it, I will order the whole shabang. If I don't care for them, at least I won't have a bunch of dust collectors

That's exactly that. The Z6 is supposed to be used between coats, but it's not 100% essential. It's like using Klasse SG with FI and not Sonus.

Z1, Z5 and/or Z2 is about all you need to get a proper idea of Zaino.

I would have to disagre with jgv here I belive Z6 is essential when using Zaino. Z6 is used in between coats which aids in application ease and IMHO it does add to the overall look for the car. Also as a last step when using Zaino I always use Z6 it gives the surface an unbelieveable slickness and cuts down on the static alot. Mind you this is all my opinion but I do use Zaino quite a bit so I am very familar with it. You can use what you have and then if you like it go ahead and by the whole lot , realizing it will get better with the Z6 and Z7.
