So what's new in your arsenal this season?

After placing just a ton of new order's in the past couple of days it just got me thinking what's everyone else putting into their line up this season?

Outside of a ton of new products (including 105/205 now) I finally added the Mequires D/A. Got it in a kit package through ADS. Figured I'd give it a try and see what's up with it. adding a lot more Professional line products from Meguires to the line up as well. Hopefully they live up to their name.

I also placed an order for a Wagnor Steamer off of Amazon.com after reading the reviews. I just wanted to try one out for awhile if I really like it I might step up to the better ones that everone else seems to have on here.

Picked up some smaller pads too. I got tipped off that edge makes 4" pads for the cyclo. (no wonder I could never find them)

And lastly (so far) I decided to pick up some cobra towels too. After getting a few free samples of them I decided I like them alot better for final buff over the Sam's club towels.

So what are you guys adding/doing different this season?

I didn't get the cyclo. I got the pads for it for my edge system 2000. I'v never been able to find pads for the edge adpater under 6" and even those only seem to pop up ever so often. But someone told me to check out the cyclo pads because they have the edge adapter as well and sure enough.. I get 4" pads :D

I had a LOT of brainstorming to do about what to add. Thought long and hard about the flex but decided for as much as I'll probably use it. It just wasn't worth the price difference over the G-111100101001010101010 (<--- mequires speak for the dang PC LOL) The cyclo was in the same boat. I have both the Makita and the Dewalt rotaries and I can get the job done better and quicker with both of those machines long before I could get the results from the D/A machines so they will continue to be my work horses. However I will be changing up how I use them. (moving away from the 8" pads as my mainstays and going down to 6" pads for most work with the other pads backing them up)

I really plan on doing less work this season but more OCD type of work. I changed things up and it's already paying off in spades. I was more than leary about changing up my business model not really thinking this area would support it. I've been pleasently suprised to the responses I've gotten. Instead of doin 4-6 details a day I would much rather do 1 a day. And I want to work on cars that people take pride in. No more puke vans and moldy 84' dodge omni's that people are just trying to sell off.

So new era, new attitude = new products and line ups :D

new this season for me is KB method or at least some form of it. Really it's just experiencing the different techniques of non dimishing abrasives, pad priming etc..

As for products/tools-boars hair brushes, a new shop-vac, and I need bigger storage/shelving for the garage.

well i have most of my detailing arsenal pretty complete. i have been really discussing with with the owner of a company who is a high volume chemical maker to branch out into higher products. so right now i got been messing with samples of stuff for the final choices. but as far as tools im really eyeing a few midrise lifts. i plan to add one to my arsenal real soon!!! im kinda also eyeing a few new wool pads!

You know I honestly thought about a single rise platform for the bigger vehicles and boats. Moving the step ladder down every couple of feet gets annoying. I know groits used to have the perfect set up. Not sure if they still do. And I see they now have a D/A pad washer that looks exactly like the regular pad washers. Anyone know if they just make a different insert so you can interchange the two? I'd be interested in something like that but not so much into investing another $130 or so just to clean another pad.

I did my yearly "spring cleaning" to all my detailing stuff...I think I replaced more than half and added a ton more since joining the forums...Im hoping to do alot more this summer now that warm weather is here... ;)
