But I tried my best. Some swirls were just to deep to remove without jeopordizing the finish any further then it already was. I had a case of garrydeanitus :chuckle: lol so I made a video! Enjoy

WOW, nice "days work" LOL

PS, nitro seal went on that M5 I did a write up on...looked good!!!!

Whoa....unable to finish down perfect?? Barry Theal is HUMAN after all!! Irregardless that is one amazing turn around! She'll wear her now shiny battle scars with pride! Awesome job buddy!!

Barry Theal- Heh heh, nice to see you taking it easy on one for a change :chuckle:

Two Qs:

How did you handle the blended areas that were partially cleared?

How did you do the touchup on the top of the right quarter?

Thanks Guys this was a fun little car for sure.

Paul- Why yes it is!

Acculator. Yeah I took it easy on this one. It was a casual day in the office:yo: The blended area on the quarter, I was able to walk back the clear threw buffing. Probally moved the blend line a few inches in the front and a few in the back. This is not a recomended do it yourselfer move. I also did the same for the deck lid. I was able to walk the line so it was under a rail on the luggage rack. Virtually unoticable. The issue was here though that the decklid paint was in real bad shape. Paint was cracking and no paint left what so ever. Here is a photo to show you just how bad it was. This picture was cropped, but it will give you the idea of how bad it was.

Barry Theal- OK, that's what I figured. I have two spots on the Jag where my guy had to use b/c after he ran out of the last can of ss (and no, nobody would mix some up and we called *everybody*) and someday I might have to deal with this.

Did you do the touchups in b/c or ss?

Oh [shoot]...too late now. With any luck no more paintwork on that car in this lifetime! That woulda been great though, I'd hoped Glasurit would do it, but they said no.

Wow, your employees do great work! :brick:

LOL, only kidding. Awesome job restoring that paint to near perfection.
