Smooth Black Trim

First I have to tell you that I thought(before claying) that my car was smooth as a babys butt, boy was I wrong! After using zaino clay, my car looks and feels so much better. What a difference! Zaino is the ****!!!!!!!!

For anybody thinking about doing it, you have to try it. BTW, should claying be done yearly?

Yea, Zaino's clay is very good, leaves a really nice 'n smooth finish. It's probably the best clay I've used to date. As usual Zaino quality is second to none!

I do a full claying about once a year, and spot clay every so often. For dirtier locations, full claying two or three times per year would be normal IMO.

Good to hear you had a positive experience with Zaino so far!

Keep an eye on the rear bumper and the top of the trunk. Those are the areas that get hit the worst. Clay is an awesome invention, I'll agree. What did we ever do without it????

I'm gettin ready to use the mothers clay on mine tomorrow...... we'll see how it goes..... :D

how long did it take you to clay yours using the Z?? what did you use as a lube??

A light claying will NOT remove your Zaino layers. I've clayed many times over Zaino without stripping much if any at all....

My wife's Range Rover Sport has several pieces of black plastic trim which I want to prevent from fading. I have tried several different products like 303 and Back to Black. Both are pretty good until they get wet, then they seem to streak or run.

The trim pieces are a smooth plastic, not Flat Black but not really shiny either.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Matt

BTW.. I just discoverd this site and it's fantastic. It has re-energized my interest in detailing.

I have had success with Klasse AIO on plastic trim of Range Rovers. If it is the same as many that I have come accross I know how frustrating it is. Looks great when you first put on products, but a day later is streaky or lost the look.

annoying

It's the trim on the front of the door pillars and at the rear of the vehicle on each side toward the top. Major pain in the butt, like you said, it looks great when first applied but any hint of water and it streaks.

I guess I will be ordering some Klasse.

thanks

Klasse is a great product to use on those trim areas. Take a look at our sale for that Klasse product and anything else you might need.
