Working nights has screwed by sleeping royally. Having RLS doesnt help, and with out my meds it SUCKS. On my days off I cant fall asleep till 1-3am. Then I wake up around 7-8am tossing and turning. To top it off I think i have some health issue since every morning for the past 3 years I have to get up and use the restroom every 15-25 minutes. On top of that every morning my stomach hurts and the only way to stop it is to get up and eat something. Whether it be 1 piece of cheese, a potato chip, or a slice of bread. If I cant eat something I have to drink water which makes me use the restroom even more. It sucks, so bad. I cant just stay in bed or ill wake my fiance up, so I have to go lay on the couch and watch tv to fall back asleep. Then on the days I do work I have to go home and either take my fiance to work at 9am or 1pm. Which means I can never get a solid days sleep without having to wake up and drive somewhere half way thru. Holiday seasons are the worst. I have to work on them all, then after my night shift is up I drive to waco which is 2 hours away all for my familys sake. I cant stay since I have work at 6 still, so I have to drive back around 3 and go back to work and work another night shift without any sleep. I HATE the holidays...
Man I would pay to get full nights sleep more than once every few months. ok my rant is over...
