I clean them with ONR and an assortment of wheel brushes, including the Meguiars spoke brush.



Tachyon-I actually lived in Glen Ellen a couple of years when I was a kid but that was 30 years ago. The closest I will be to you is northern Kentucky in late May... ;)



I appreciate all the nice comments, everyone. What really made me happy though, was when my customer with the Porsche told me the person who referred him to me said "if you get black, you have to get Scott to detail your car at least once". :) That made me feel really good.
 
Scott nice job and yes you are the king for black. Also thanks for all the encouraging post about ONR. Got my first bottle and I love it. I seems to make the mitt glide right over the paint and makes it look good too.
 
Finally back from a broken hand, stupid me!.....and I get to comment & detail my car again!...YAY!

Another Holy $#!T on the Porsche.



One question. I use the Optimum Compound, Polish, and ONR and am considering trying the Poli-Seal on some of my customers' vehicles. How long do you have to let the Poli-Seal cure before putting a LSP on top? I've been using NXT or EX-P and let it cure overnight before putting going back to their home to put the LSP on (Collinite usually since all my customers live within 1/4 mi of the ocean).

No need to wait with Poli-Seal, in fact, you can remove it with Optimum Car Wax if you wish.

There are very few rock chips, the car is 5 years old and has only 21,000 miles on it.



Mcthings-Superior Fine (Joe) has you covered in Cali, I highly doubt I can out-detail him. ;)

As you know, I'm using the Carnauba Jett rather than the Acrylic Jett. Do you think I should switch? What is the major difference in appearance?
