single stage red

I have a question about a 1996 mazda miata that is red. The car stays outside,the owner wants to repaint it but it doesnt really need it, the car is cleanable for sure. He doesnt want to have to wax it very often to keep the red from fading. What would be the longest lasting product to keep the red from fading out quickly. Or is that possible.

Shawn the single stage paint will fade or oxdize. I then needs to be removed. All waxes prior to my detailing days removed oxidized paint, that doesnt mean it was completely removed. Just have plenty of pads ready as your padfs will be red after about a body panel each. Id try ssr1 followed by PWS or EX. Good luck. Post pictures, before and after.

Collinite, Zaino, and FK's Hi Temp wax are three that come to mind.

Red is a hard one to keep from fading but to me a sealant would be the choice for a tuff finish
